Palliative Care:
We are on hand to help in a compassionate and sympathetic way for those nearing the end of life. Our aim is to make this difficult time easier for service users and their families by taking the burden out of providing care. This allows your focus to be solely on spending time with your loved one.
Social/Companionship:
Whilst not everybody needs daily care we do understand that some people need companionship, or even just support to get out and about, for instance to hospital or GP appointments. For those that wish to run their own errands we are fully committed to helping people remain active and independent, and will assist with this. We believe this helps enrich life and keeps people involved in their community.
We also understand that not everybody has a social connection readily available and on your request we can tailor a plan for this, whether it be a trip to a coffee shop or a full day out.
Respite/Holiday Cover:
On availability we can arrange short term care packages for those members of your family that you currently look after. This could be whilst you are on holiday or to give you a short break from providing care. We will agree the package on offer to you and your family members.
Hospital to Home:
We understand that people have busy lives and aren't always on hand to collect family members from hospital. We can collect after discharge and ensure that they are settled in their own home with a small essential shop. Our staff will also ensure that heating and other amenities are in working order.
Shopping/Cleaning:
As simple as it sounds, we can assist with your regular shop, do your shop or help with online shopping, including arranging a time, accepting delivery and putting away.
Similarly we can assist with those light cleaning duties that help keep your home in order (we do not supply cleaning materials/equipment).
